To stop a blackmailer and achieve her dreams, she has to do only one thing: seduce the enemy.
Shanna York is set to achieve her glittering ballroom dreams and become a dance champion – until her dance partner gets tangled up in scandal and blackmail. With the clock ticking and all her ambitions at stake, the last thing she needs is the gorgeous owner of a sex club tempting her with the forbidden. Or maybe that’s the very thing she needs.
Alejandro Diaz has sizzled for Shanna since he set eyes on her months ago. Her repeated rebuffs will make her surrender that much sweeter. She’s ambitious and driven…but so is he. When she asks for his assistance to ensnare a voyeuristic blackmailer with a video fetish, he doesn’t hesitate to help her stage a bedroom trap. But neither is prepared to face scorching, endless passion, the blackmailer’s real identity – or the undeniable love that grows between them.
This title is a reissue of a 2007 release.

Wow!! This was such a great read!! OMG, if you want a hot quickie this is definitely the read for you!! Good lord I was scorched many a time, almost from the very start!

The story is good and the characters interesting, but the real deal here is all the smexy stuff! This book does not skimp on the hawt action! This is one of those reads where voyeurism is a key element. Much of the action occurs in a private sex club, so be prepared for that angle. Also have a couple buckets or ice cream ready, read while sitting in a tub of ice water and be prepared with loads of batteries or a snuggle buddy!! This book brings the steam in boatloads and frequently!!

I listened to the audiobook narrated by Sasha Dunbrooke, who is a new voice for my ears. She had a wonderful feel for all the voices and accents, there were a few. I am going to have to look at other reads from her. The pace was spot on and full of energy, you could almost feel the chemistry between the leads as she read. A delight all around!!

The only negatives I have are minimal at best. I was not believing love this quickly, I will go with lust and feelings, but not love. The other “Eh” for me was the resolution of the big conflict. Finding out about the blackmailer was anticlimactic and sort of a footnote at the end. It was a bummer because the rest of the story was well done.

I know that happens in real life, bit in the book it felt more lust at first sight. Still it was a yummy read.

I am hit or miss with her books, but I’m glad you enjoyed this one. It does sound like some hot and kinky voyeurism going on.
