Narrator Update – Emily Beresford

Eargasms Narrator Spotlight Update Emily Beresford

Thanks for reaching out April, I’m thrilled to do an update of what I’ve been up to the past year. To start, I am happy to finally have a website so people can find me on the web! EmilyBeresford.com. I have been rockin’ since last year’s narrator spotlight.
I started a new series with the amazing Maryann Jordan, called the Alvarez Security Series which I will be continuing in the beginning of the year.

I began a new fantastic shifter series by Avery Burch called City of Wolves.

I have also continued with books from the Luna Lodge series by Madison Stevens, and the Haunted Series by Alexie Aaron.
Titus Audiobook Ghostly Attachments Audiobook
I have narrated several non-series books including the beautiful love story, All That Lies Within by the absolutely wonderful Lynn Ames.

I am currently booked into March and so thrilled to work with so many talented authors. Upcoming books include more from Maryann Jordan and Madison Stevens. Releasing in early January is the continuation of The Worth Series by Mara Jacobs that I JUST completed, called Worth The Price, then comes Worth The Lies, in March. Fingers crossed there will be more from Avery Burch. Speaking with the author, they said if there was interest and demand, more would be written. I’d suggest to take a listen and then contact Avery if you want more and love the story as much as I do.
Now for the fun part: GIVEAWAY!! I am giving away two codes for City of Wolves by Avery Burch, and two codes for Gabe, book 1 in the Alvarez Security Series by Maryann Jordan. Good luck and happy listening!!
To enter the giveaway you must comment below with a relevant question or heap fan love on the narrator. Don’t be surprised if you get a reply on the day of the posting. You have the week to enter, winners will be drawn on Saturday. Good luck and happy listening!!!

Hi Emily! I listened to a few of your historical romances and really enjoyed them. Happy New Year!

City of Wolves looks like a lot of fun. This whole future society with the Elite and how shifters are forbidden, etc. I think that is a new twist, to have this futuristic setting and shifters. I see from your audible page you have done a lot of historical romances. Do you have a favorite historical setting or time period?

    • Emily says:

Hi there! I wouldn’t say so much a specific setting or time period, but I must say I love the lyrical dialogue that many historical romance writers use. It makes it so fun to be in character and pretend to be in another time period 🙂

I’m happy to say that I’ve heard your work (in Alexandra Ivy and Laura Wright Bayou Heat series). You do very good work and I’m looking forward to hearing more.

Being booked through March must be such a relief particularly since you got picked for a few series. Congratulations! Did you like reading Paranormal Romance already?

    • Emily says:

Hi Sophia Rose! What a relief being booked is, yes. Since I am such a huge book nerd, I must say I love every genre of book. My guilty pleasure though, has been narrating the Miriam Black Series by Chuck Wendig. She is so rough around the edges and has a crazy ability to see how people die. Wendig has a style all his own, and is not for the faint of heart, or clean minded 🙂

Congratulations on your booking, its good to know that you’re being able to do what you love. I listened some snippets of your narrations and I liked them. A good narrator can make or break an audiobook. What is the most important part of narration to you?

    • Emily says:

Thanks Alexisa! Most important for me is preparation, and getting to know the characters. While narrating a good book, it’s hard to leave it at the end of the day and turn the characters off to return to life outside the booth!

Hi Cyndi. OOOHH, I really got into Shifter. I love the world the author created, and really fell in love with the characters. I am really hoping more are written, as I can see it as a great movie. The ASA books are great. I have fallen in love with each of the Security men and their back-stories. They are nice and steamy without going super graphic. Definitely sexy, without the 100% in depth, play by play. Don’t get me wrong, I love when authors really let a love scene rip, but Maryann’s writing is a great balance, which enhances the book without dominating the story. Thanks for the comment!

Sounds like you’ve had an awesome year and so much more coming too, Congrats! I got very excited to to Shifter on this spotlight, it’s on my Wishlist! Can you tell us what you liked most about doing this book? What about the ASA books, are they as steamy as the covers look?? Thanks for the update and good luck in 2016!

oops, put the comment in the wrong spot!
